This is my first photo assignment by Davao Oriental State University. I was tasked to do a short photographic expedition to document the world’s largest pygmy forest in the southeast corner of the Philippines. 

Some of my photos were used in the Mt. Hamiguitan Natural Science Museum. University students and my late friend Dr. Ann Cabras, the head of Coleoptera Research Center, have used my photos for her presentation talks and partially funded this trip.
